things move - dark, light; constant change;
years turn in cold stone
springs burst forth from riven rock
running restless to storm tossed seas while together, alone,
seven sleepers pillowed cold, sleep and watch the dream unfold
after frostfire pierces deep the secret heart
comes then the quickening
the dead awake from shrouded clay
to pass and fall, lamenting, formless, larval, alone
seven sorrows old as time patiently await the sign

Excellent medieval folk, IGR, & those with ears to hear. I love the sense of mysticism and deep, introspective ponder this album conveys, & the honest down-to-earth folky lyrics. Simply wonderful yet soulfully rich. Highlights for me are tracks 2, 5, 6, & 12. IGR truly capture what I feel is an authentic sense of a medieval bard at a woodland rill pondering the mysteries of life. Highly recommended. 8.5+/10. Alrihkh

Absolutely sublime, atmospheric, and ethereal record that never ceases to entertain me. Definitely the best album I have ever obtained via bandcamp -highly recommended. David Gervais
Introspective, homespun folk tunes from John Donne that feel informed by the sugary bleakness of '80s and '90s indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2023
