markers, boundaries; what is within is known; standing sentinel - what is within is home
gateways; doors open gateways; doors close
every evening, day on day, walk the crooked track; watch unblinking hidden eyes (who) dream of coming back
gateways; doors open gateways; doors close
above the crack of heaven, below the solid earth; between stands the hoarstone; between both death and birth
gateways; doors open gateways; doors close
last is in, first is in; all without, all within; cast your doubt; the glowing heart - at the hoarstone - there we part
gateways; doors open gateways; doors close

Excellent medieval folk, IGR, & those with ears to hear. I love the sense of mysticism and deep, introspective ponder this album conveys, & the honest down-to-earth folky lyrics. Simply wonderful yet soulfully rich. Highlights for me are tracks 2, 5, 6, & 12. IGR truly capture what I feel is an authentic sense of a medieval bard at a woodland rill pondering the mysteries of life. Highly recommended. 8.5+/10. Alrihkh
Absolutely sublime, atmospheric, and ethereal record that never ceases to entertain me. Definitely the best album I have ever obtained via bandcamp -highly recommended. David Gervais
Introspective, homespun folk tunes from John Donne that feel informed by the sugary bleakness of '80s and '90s indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2023
